L’articolo non è tecnico, ma analizza il fenomeno dal punto di vista del business:
NoSQL remains a tiny blip in the overall datastore universe. Why? For one thing, SQL is much easier to learn, as O'Grady also points out. Google and its ilk are in furious bidding wars to buy the best tech talent the world has to offer. The mainstream enterprise can't compete with that, and ends up with mainstream engineers.
Condivido in pieno quanto detto dall’articolo, come ho già avuto modo di dire più volte. Come geek userei NoSQL alla prima occasione, perchè provare un giocattolo è sempre divertente. Come serio professionista ci penserei un buon 10 volte prima di adottarlo in una soluzione per un cliente.
